An interesting model of our solar system’s path as it travels through space in the Milky Way.
Certainly a departure from usual models that show the Sun as a static object, which it certainly isn’t
I have been waiting for this picture to come back around for so long to show it to someone.
I’ve always wanted to see this! It would be really cool to see more levels out (eg: out Galaxy moving around in our cluster). I know technically relativity dictates that this is a dumb statement: I would like to know exactly how we move in relation to everything— or some static “ether” that permeates the universe. What are all our movement components in every direction in relation to the universe??
